How to change Name Servers in .MY Domain Registry (MYNIC)


1.       Logon to .MY Domain Registry.

2.       Enter your Technical Contact Username & Password.

3.       Enter your Technical Contact Code.

4.       Go to Domain Name >> Modify Domain.

5.       Enter the domain name to modify, and click Search. (Search with blank will show all domain names associated with your contact code.)

6.       Tick the domain name that you would like to make changes, and click Modify.

7.       Tick the Modify Name Servers.

8.       To modify the existing Name Server IP, select Modify Name Server IP and change the IPv4 Address respectively to match with your name server IP address.

9.       To add or change the Name Server, select Add / Remove / Change Name Server.

10.   Then, click Create (the green Plus icon) under Action to create a new Name Server.
11.   Enter your Hostname and IP address for the name server and click Create to confirm.

12.   Please create or assign at least two (2) name server for each domain.

13.   Alternatively, you can also enter an existing name server Code directly instead of creating new name server.

14.   Finally, click Modify to confirm the changes to your domain.
15.   Your domain’s name server will be updated shortly by MYNIC. [Done]
